Kai Lun's 20th birthday bash

Someone turned one year older on 23rd January 2010. I happen to be very special to that someone and hence why I'm allowed to throw a big party for her. =P It was a saturday, I'm glad that most of the invited ones shown up. I had fun, and I hope same goes to everyone who came. I hear no complaints about the party! :D

Initially baby wanted to celebrate at Empire hotel but after considering the space (and cost), we decided that Junjong b&b was a better deal. It's cheaper, bigger, and we can have more privacy! Nobody gonna file a complaint if we are making too much noises. It was a smart choice of us! haha.

As planned, I was the first one who arrived, together with vivian jie and queenie. Weeming and kang came shortly. We started heating up the charcoal before everyone else came. Seriously, it aint easy! Luckily we managed to "make some fire", with the lil` help of the owner :) I admit that I'm never good in bbq! Yes, a lot of chicken wings and hotdogs gone "chao ta" because of me! Queenie took over my position as head chef as a result. It became more like a REAL BBQ PARTY afterwards.

A big thank you to those who brought along with extra food and drinks. - from me and helen :)

The birthday girl @ my baby came around 5plus together with her friends. Then my brothers and her friends started to flood the place. It was time to party from 6pm onwards.
Baby and her friends were the first who jumped into the pool. We guys had our session after our stomach was stuffed with food. I remember after everyone gone home, baby went to the pool again with her friends. Swimming at 12 midnight, I believe that's a great and memorable moments!

hiatus

I know this is super late but guys, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!
Hope this year of TIGER gonna bring everyone happiness, prosperity, love and especially wealth! :D :D 平安就好!!


I'm busy with stuff as always - new semester has started last week but I'm only active (half-active) starting this week. I'm still working part time for extra cash. Gym time is fixed at 6pm from Monday to Friday. Luckily, I still have some good time left for baby :D Although some days can get pretty hectic but it's all worthwhile at the end of the day. 爱拼才会赢!!


I will blog more often I guess. My new year resolution: attract more visitors to my site. haha. Oh, exam results were published few weeks ago. I'm quite satisfied about it but I know I can do better. It's my 3rd year - 2nd semester now. Only left with one + 1/2 year being an undergraduate, must score nicer next time. I know I can do it! 加油!!


Baby gonna turn one year older soon. Her brother threw her a surprise party at Excapade recently. The cake was yumyum!! Now that he has stole my show, I must make sure the next party I host for baby gonna be great!!

Seriously, I never liked korean series / movie. Not that I hate korean la, but then I'm just not into them. I prefer angmo ones: *thumbs up* Prison Break, Lie to Me!! Anyway, the point is that I've just finished watching 25 episodes of Boys Over Flowers (Korean F4). No, I'm not in love with Gu Jun Pyoo now, but I think my baby is. (HIGH CHANCE!) I'm pretty sure most of you guys have watched the taiwan version before but the korean ones is much better. This is because they have many more sponsors, which means they have more money to utilise and in return, we got great viewing pleasure! Now you know the reason why we not only see one, but two Lotus Exile? haha. Anyway, go get it if you still havent watch. Can download also =X

I'm in love!!

I went to Kuraman Island with friends some time before September starts. It was a package thing provided by Dolphin Sea Sport Center @ Empire Hotel. Kuraman Island is a heaven for most holidaymakers but it wasnt a happy ending for all of us on that day. It was a nice and smooth ride to get to the island, no big wave and all. It took us about one hour to get to the destination. Just in case you didnt know, Kuraman Island is located somewhere near Labuan. Yes, we were on Malaysia territory without having our passports chopped! We had good time bbq-ing, snorkling, and just floating on the sea with life jackets. On our return trip, the boat was swaying big time and our asses were suffering like hell. Some of us (yes, including me) got seasick but I did not vomit, someone did! It was certainly an unpleasant ride!! Just imagine what we had to go thru for an hour! What's worst, OUR BOAT BROKE DOWN HALFWAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEA!! GOD! I definitely do not want to go through all that sh*t again. Planes and cars are good means of transportation for me. Boat? Nah, no thanks! We waited for quite some time before our rescuer came. No, not the 998 Rescue Team. The uncle @ boatman @ owner @ captain @ 'chao ta' @ you-dont-even-know-that-he's-chinese-until-he-starts-talking who was in charged of the Dolphin Sea Sport Center called another small boat to tow our big boat back. It took us about 2 hours to get back to Empire. We were supposed to be back before 3pm, but we "landed" around 6plus. Right timing for sunset! =S We actually had one shot of the banana boat on that day but we were all exhausted, certainly had no mood to enjoy.

Two days later, we re-united again. Time to enjoy our free banana boat ride! It was great, but I was too scared that I was gonna drown. I dont want to die so youngg!! Luckily I didnt. The guys took the opportunity to try out some other water sports available, parasailing and jet skiing. Yes, it costs a bomb!! It costs us B$55.00 each to get to the island. Snorkling equipments were provided but we need to bring our own foods. Ask me if I will want to hit Kuraman Island again? No! My trip to Manukan Island, KK was far better last year! I will be going to KK towards the end of the year! Happy advanced birthday to Adison!! lol.

I'm still active for gym! And usually I hit the gym around 4 or 5plus in the afternoon after work / school. I'm trying to make it an everyday activity. Still have the determination to lift heavyweights now, dont think it will last for long tho` *fingers crossed* =P I guess every guy should go to gym more often to keep up the nice body shape. Mine still not nice to be displayed around. haha. Oh, yes cheahwen, I go for weights only. Dancing classes are for aunties and uncles. I will be joining them when I reach 30s. lol

I hope that I can get to drive an Evolution before I reach 30s. haha. Recently I have this FM assignment which requires me to compare the car prices of cash payment, 3 years- and 7 years- financing. I've inquired GHK and their next shipment for Lancer Evolution X will be some time next month. I remember it costed $73,000+ when it first came to Brunei. And the price is now B$89,000 (Auto) and B$86,000 (Manual). I have to pay B$1,190 per month if I take up the 7 years loan. B$2,450.00 for the 3 years loan. Gosh!! Oh, minimum deposit of B$15,000.00 is compulsory. Evolution X is sweet. Right?
